Start by having families watch Plant Your Socks!, a short video about collecting seeds strewn throughout an empty lot. (Gather around a laptop or tablet, or arrange to view the video on a larger screen.) Then, head outdoors to explore how plants spread their seeds around with the hands-on activity Seed Toys. If time permits, wrap up your day by completing one or more of the “Explore Some More” activities.
